Besides facilitating navigation along taxonomic trees, MicrobialTREE© allows the association of URLs and texts to each node, the classification of the information by keywords and the access using the search tool.

MicrobialTREE© manages the 63.603 nodes corresponding to bacteria and archaea taken from NCBI taxonomic database using a JAVA program that generates an XML file from the text files. |
