A lot of biological processes are faster and better understood thanks to multimedia technologies. Era7 makes multimedia presentations to explain biological and biomedical processes.

 

For example, clicking the image on the right you can see an animation that explains to novices how transcription and translation lead to a protein that exerts a specific function, and thus, the flow of biological information from DNA to RNA to protein is achieved.

In this other example, a multimedia program shows the essence of the dynamic programing algorithm while a real use case is performed. The program can be run with different user defined inputs, and so, the user can understand how different inputs are analized by the algorithm giving differents results.
